Sleep diary
- What is a sleep diary?
- A sleep diary is used to record child's everyday sleep pattern and quality, and factors affecting his/her sleep. We recommend that parents complete the sleep diary over at least a one-week period.
- When and how often should I complete the diary?
- You should complete the sleep diary within one hour after your child gets up in the morning.
- What if I forget to complete a section?
- If you forget or are unable to complete your child's sleep diary for a day, please leave the corresponding section blank.
- What if my child's sleep and emotions are affected by unusual events?
- Please record this in the “Other comments” section in the sleep diary.
