Research Internship

The success of our lab depends on the involvement of dedicated undergraduate students. Getting involved with research as an undergraduate is a great way to learn more about psychology and get hands-on experience. Research experience is also valuable for students considering going on to graduate school.

Undergraduate research assistants in our lab work closely with other members of the lab on one or more on-going projects. Your involvement may include: designing experiments and materials, conducting experiments, coding data, analyzing data, participating in scientific lab discussions, and presenting data at conferences.

Course credit in the form of PSYC2072/2073 is available.

Requirements:

  • Preferably second-year psychology major
  • High research ethics
  • Academic excellence
  • Excellent Chinese and English communication skills
  • Commitment to work in the lab for two semesters, for approximately 10 hours/ week
  • Interest in personality, social, and health psychology

If you are interested in getting involved in the lab, please contact our lab in July or December to arrange for an interview.
